Seven will be our special numeral. Our new Fruit of Spirit subject will be “Gentleness”. Dr. Seuss will be our new author of the month. The letters and sounds we will be studying during the month are as follows:

We will be listening to “He’s Got The Whole World In His Hands”. Our new art print is “Goldfish” by Henri Matisse. The oval is our shape and the children will use it in the art area to make a chick. This month we will begin reading “Benjamin’s Box” and using the resurrection eggs to help the children understand the reason we celebrate Easter.
By the middle of the month, we will begin our special studies about towns, states, countries, continents, and then planets. These are all difficult concepts for young children, but we will discuss them in very general terms. The children especially enjoy the planets.
