I have been a teacher at Genesis Montessori for 12 years. I received my NCME Certification in Montessori Early Childhood Education (ages 2 ½ -6) from Lavonna Peterson's Kansas City Center/ Montessori Education. I get so much enjoyment from teaching and observing the children in our classrooms. They work, socialize and grow in their academic, spiritual and personal growth to become wonderful and independent individuals. But, most importantly, for many, this is their first experience with school and we want to make it a loving, caring and positive experience. It is so wonderful being with the children, watching them grow and being in a classroom where the children are allowed to be independent by making their own work choices. I have completed one year of Montessori Certification Training and have one year remaining with Lavonna Peterson's Kansas City Central/Montessori Education program. I have a very loving and supportive husband and two beautiful daughters.

I'm so excited about teaching at Genesis Montessori Preschool. I love working with children and watching them grow and learn new things every day. I grew up in Iowa and moved to Missouri in 1994. I have a wonderful husband and boy/girl twins.
