PLAYGROUND TIME
As weather permits, we will be using the playground. Please be sure to dress your child comfortably and appropriately according to the weather that day. Please avoid sending your child in dress shoes or sandals. Please be sure to send a jacket clearly labeled with your child’s name on days that may be cool. Thank you.
ENROLLMENT NEWS
Please be aware that forms and registration fees must be turned in to the office in order to guarantee a space for your child. We have waiting lists available for those classrooms that are already full. Detailed information on classes, school supplies, calendar, etc. will be mailed in August. Please let Darra know promptly of any schedule changes, address or phone changes, or concerns for the following school year.
SECURITY
Thank you for always using the main doors, and remembering to sign in your child in the office each morning. We also appreciate you signing your child out in the classroom at dismissal time. Your extra efforts make such a difference!
APRIL CLASS NEWS
Lambs – Spring projects include circle caterpillars, umbrellas, and bunnies.
Bears – The Bears will be creating polka dot umbrellas, colorful butterflies, and ladybugs.
Zebras – The Zebras will make reversible duck/bunnies, beautiful bugs, and other spring projects. They are reviewing many readiness skills learned throughout the school year.
Giraffes – The Giraffes will create “Peter Rabbit” in his watering can, baskets, and crazy bugs. They will begin work on their “All About Me’ unit that gives practice on names, addresses, phone numbers, and other readiness skills. We will be reviewing the alphabet and beginning sounds. Many elementary schools are continuing with their Kindergarten round-up. Below are some links to area school district information:
