As of May 2007, LSUMC had set a record for the largest capital campaign amount ever pledged in the history of this church in the amount of $1,802,638, and commitment cards were still arriving. What a testimony to our congregation’s faithfulness and commitment to the future of this church!

Master Planning Task Force
Following the purchase of land, members claimed the land” by erecting a “Future Home of LSUMC” sign on the property. A Master Planning Task Force was established to:
• Evaluate the best use of our new site
• Study the disposition of our present property
• Retain professional assistants as needed
