My husband and I fell in love with LSUMC the first time we visited and have been members since 1993. We became regular Sunday School teachers, settling into the 5th and 6th grade class and founding Club 56 for 5th and 6th graders. I spent 15 years in federal law enforcement before becoming an official member of the Children’s Ministry staff. I believe God has used my life’s experience to lead me towards my true passion of ministering to children and their families. I enjoy reading any and every kind of book, trying new foods and outdoor activities. I am a member of the Honor and Praise Women’s Choir, and enjoy singing and sharing the message of God’s love with others. My husband and I enjoy traveling to Mexico and sharing the traditions and culture of that country. We share our home with two cats, a dog, two motorcycles and all the chaos of raising an active young son.
