"Purple Power"

Each Sunday look for our Children's Ministry volunteers to be wearing purple t-shirts with our Children's Ministry logo and purpose statement.  Don't forget to thank those in purple for sharing their time and God's love in service to our children.

School Year Power Pack Sessions

Two Children's Sunday School options: 

9:15-10:15 serve children through 4th grade.  After checking into their classrooms, all children (3 years - 4th grades) will gather together for an opening of praise music and then they will return to their age level classrooms for their teaching segment. (Nursery and 2 year olds will remain in their rooms the entire time). 

10:40 - 12:00 serve children through 6th grade. The worship schedule affords us the luxury of a longer 2nd Sunday School session allowing us to adopt a model which enables us to more fully concentrate on the values we believe will help ensure that children will continue in a life long relationship with God and the church.

We encourage you to allow your children to experience this session in it's entirety (10:40 -noon). Use the extra 20 minutes before or after you own worship service for getting to know others and reacquainting yourselves with those you may have lost touch with.  Refreshments available in our Children's Ministry Volunteer lounge.  

Love Kids? Love Summer?

We are looking for some energetic people to lead our Children's classes! If you love kids, summer and God, then you are just the individuals we need! No teaching experience necessary...curriculum and supplies provided...training offered! Contact Staci Allen for more information.

Curriculum

We have partnered with the Worship team in order to bring you one "big idea" each week.  Your children will be learning an aspect of the same idea you are hearing in the sermon series each Sunday.  We hope that this will help facilitate family discussions and family devotions each week as you share what each of you  learned about the "big idea" for the week.  For more information or questions please contact Stacy Guerero.

2nd Floor Education wing

Rooms 21/23 - Pre Kindergarten (will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall 2008)
Rooms 22/24 - Preschool (age 3 by August 1, 2007)
Rooms 25/27 - Kindergarten

Downstairs Main Building

Sharpe Lounge - 5th & 6th grade (10:40 - Noon session only)
