SOS [Serving Our Savior]

SAVE THE DATE: S.O.S. (Serving Out Savior) June 28 - July 1, 2010: SOS is an alternative Vacation Bible School experience for those students entering 5th or 6th grade for the 2010/2011 school year. The program gives students an opportunity to make a real difference in their world at a key transitional time in their lives.

The purpose is to share the reality of God’s unwavering love with the students and then give them tangible opportunities to share that love with the world. Ministry outings help reinforce the theme to Get sparked By Jesus and Share the Charge.

Ministry Outings in the past have included: Harvesters, Kansas City’s Food Bank, beautifying God’s world by picking up litter with Jackson County Parks and Recreation, supporting American soldiers by providing Iraqi children with school supply kits through Operation Iraqi Children, and working with Simply Equine Assisted Therapy (SEAT).
