Women's Book Club
This group meets the third Thursday of each month from 7-8pm in Howard Lounge to discuss books chosen at random by recommendations from the group. Please note that we read Christian and non-Christian selections, alternating each month. Books are chosen two months in advance at each meeting.
We will meet on Thursday, August 21 to discuss CHRIST THE LORD OUT OF EGYPT by Anne Rice. August is our Christian book month and Anne Rice has written an intriguing first person account of Jesus younger years. While her account is fictional, it is based on extensive research. You won't want to miss this read!
Looking ahead, September 18 we will meet to discuss THE SHACK by William P. Young. This book is a current favorite and was highly recommended.
In October we will read REDEEMING LOVE by Francine Rivers. What a fantastic fall to look forward to!
Hope you can make it!
If you are considering joining us for the first time, please contact Amanda Pascoe or call 816.803.2189 to be put on the communication list for this group. We'd love to have you!
